You were healed at the cross: -

1 Peter 2v24

“ … who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to

sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Isaiah 53v5

But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2v24 is the fulfilment scripture of the prophecy of Isaiah regarding what

Jesus would attain for us at the cross.

We notice firstly that Jesus bore our sins on the cross that we might/may/can live

for/have righteousness. We ‘have been’ made righteous in Christ Jesus. Jesus

atoned for our sins. The atonement means the exchange, or swop. Jesus became

sin and we became righteous at the cross. Jesus exchanged/swopped His

righteousness for our sins. He gave us His righteousness and He took our sins.

With the ‘root’ of sin dealt with so the fruit of good health, (the very health of Jesus),

became ours.

At the cross Jesus took our sicknesses and gave us His health. This is an all-

encompassing health that includes spiritual, emotional, mental, physical,

circumstantial, and financial health.

We receive ALL things by Grace through Faith – Ephesians 2v8-9; “For by grace you

have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not

of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Once we firstly realise that we ‘have been healed’ we can apply faith to it and healing

is released through our bodies. Grace has given, faith believes this and releases it.

Jesus did a complete work for us at the cross; He said – “It is finished!” At the cross

He reconciled and restored ALL things into His very state of being and resources for

mankind.

“By His stripes you were healed.” This is written in the past tense; IE it has already

happened. When we believe we receive – When we doubt, we do without.

Thank You Jesus for the finished work of the cross; I’m righteous and healed

because of it.

God bless, our fond love to you, yours, and all those dear to you –

Abraham, and all of ‘For Your Good’ Ministries.
