God and the Devil
Who’s who, and who does what: –
John 10v10
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
In this Scripture Jesus defines who is who, and who does what!
Many falsely ‘confuse’ the Devil with God. Some believe it is God who gives us sickness and allows all kinds of evil, struggle, and disaster into our lives.
Jesus clearly defines that the thief (the Devil) comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The Devil is, and does, bad.
Jesus then defines who He is and what He does; I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly.
To put this matter into simple terms – God is Good, and the Devil is bad – This is a good and settled theology to have. If it’s bad it’s the Devil; if it is good, it’s God.
Settle that God is and only does good!
